Directions to the Diamond State Drive-In Theater

From: Outside Delaware New Castle County Dover Area DE Beaches Harrington / Western Sussex County

From Outside Delaware:

Take I-95 to Delaware
Get off at Exit 4a, Rt 1 South

(Continue with directions for New Castle County)

From New Castle County:

Follow Rt. 1 over the C & D Canal (large bridge) and as it turns into a Toll Road
C & D Canal Toll, $1.00 Pay another $1.00 toll just south of the Dover Downs racetrack.

Get off Rt. 1 at Exit 97 to Rt 13. (no toll!)
Take Exit 97 to Rt 13 This exit ramp is about 2 miles long and ends at a traffic light in front of a car dealership.

When the exit ramp ends (about 2 miles), you will turn Left at the light, onto Rt 13 South
Turn Left onto Rt 13 The theater is approximately 7.5 miles (15-20 minutes) from this light

As you get near the theater, you come to an intersection with a Valero gas Station on the left corner and a school bus lot on the right corner:

After this intersection, get in the right lane and look for Plymouth Rd.
Past Plymouth Rd, look for Drive-In Once you pass Plymouth Rd, start looking for the Drive-In.
The Drive-in is less than ¼ mile, on the right, but trees often hide the marquee.
Look for marquee hiding behind trees

There is a U-turn lane (to head Northbound) 300 feet south of the Drive-In as you exit. U-Turn 300 feet south of exit

From Dover Area:

Follow Rt 13 South through the center of Dover
Rt 13 South through Dover At the Rts. 1/113 and Rt. 13 Split, stay to your Right (Rt. 13).
Take Rt 13 South at Split

Follow Rt. 13 South for approx 10 miles to the Diamond State Drive-In.

From Delaware Beaches:

Take Rt 1 / Rt 113 North to Milford. Continue North approximately 6 miles, past Fredrica, to Barrett's Chapel Rd.
The Barrett's Chapel Cemetery is immediately before the turn on the right (east side), the road (RD 371 / Barrett's Chapel Rd) is on your left.
Follow this road for several miles. It will take you directly to Rt 13 on the west side of Delaware.

At Rt 13, turn Left (head south).
Stay in the right lane, the Drive-In is less than ¼ mile on your right.

From Sussex County / Harrington:

Get to Rt.13 Northbound below Felton. There are many east-west cross-roads in Sussex County from the beach areas, etc. Please check locally for the best way to Rt 13 Felton / Sussex County
Go 2 miles north of Felton.
You will see the Delaware Auto Exchange on your left.
You will see the Diamond State Drive-In Theater marquee shortly after, also on the left.
Look for marquee hiding on left side
Go to the next left turn lane, make a U-turn, and head back to the Theater on Rt. 13 S. U turn at next left, head back to theatre
